ABOUT THE COMPANY
THE JSC CREDIT INFORMATION BUREAU (KREDĪTINFORMĀCIJAS BIROJS) is a credit bureau which is part of an international group of providers of credit information services, the CREDITINFO GROUP (CIG) (www.creditinfo.com), which was established in March 2003.
CIG is one of the most rapidly growing companies in the sector of credit information management, and its key regions of operation are Central Europe and Eastern Europe. The company has direct representative offices in 26 countries, and, via our cooperation partners (Creditsafe and D&B), we have representatives in 32 European and Near East countries: Iceland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Georgia, Jamaica, Belgium, France, The United Kingdom, Ireland, The Netherlands, Sweden, Malta, Romania, and other.
CIG is a member of the Association of Consumer Credit Information Suppliers (ACCIS, www.accis.eu).
CIG participates in the development and implementation of the project of the World Bank (WB), The International Monetary Fund (IMF), The International Financial Corporation (IFC), and other organisations, implementation of credit bureau solutions, implementation of know-how solutions for the central banks of several countries; organisation of training programmes for bank representatives and developers of draft laws.
